My very first award in Canada 🇨🇦 !! Personally, this is a significant milestone for me being in a new country and a very new career path as an accountant. While I was in the process of applying for my PR back in 2020, most of the individuals I connected with highlighted only one thing – you might have to start your career all over again in Canada.
And with that mind set and packing my entire life into 1 suitcase, I arrived here in Vancouver. I knew no one in this city, did not have anyone come to pick-me-up at the airport.
What followed for a severe testing period for my integrity and passion. There were days I questioned about giving up on my career in India. Luckily, my mom and sister Rashmi Sreenivas kept me motivated and going.
Then as a light at the end of the tunnel, I ended up at Gentai Capital where my values resonated with the company’s culture and rest as they say is history 🌟
Thank you Gentai Capital for this amazing opportunity and bringing together the best people who support and help each other grow !!
