We invest in Canada through our mortgage lending and asset management activities and earn strong returns by doing so.

But we also believe that it is important to invest for another reason: to build vibrant, healthy communities where people want to live, work and play.

To ensure our social investments have the greatest possible impact, we deploy capital selectively where we perceive the greatest need. Over the years, this has led us to donate to food banks, hospital foundations for their mental health campaigns and seniors’ residences to assist in the purchase of medical masks. Gentai also proudly provides scholarships to the qualified students enrolled in UBC Sauder School of Business and SFU Beedie School of Business.
